How we measure

Two measurements, every month: how Google reads your site, and what AI assistants say about you. Here is exactly what we check, and what we can't measure.

Reading your site

Our crawler reads your pages the way a search engine does: it respects robots.txt, follows your sitemap and links, and sends at most one request per second to a site. On large sites we read a sample; the report always says how many addresses we read.

We check:

  • links, including phone links and links between your own sites
  • titles, descriptions and main headings (H1) for Google
  • the sitemap, robots.txt and access for AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot)
  • company details: name, tax ID, phone and address must match everywhere
  • structured data (schema.org) for the business and its products
  • speed on a phone (Google PageSpeed) and page weight
  • visitor tracking and cookie consent

Questions to AI assistants

We write the questions buyers ask in your town and language, for example “Where in Gorenjska can I order a fitted wardrobe?”. Your business name is not in the question.

We ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude with web search switched on, the way a buyer uses them. Copilot we check by hand for now. We store the full answer and the sources the assistant cites.

From each answer we record whether you are named, in which position, who is ahead of you, and whether the assistant cites your site.

From finding to fix

Every finding has a level: critical (you lose customers or risk a fine), urgent, important or growth. For each one we prepare a fix with a fixed price and a deadline.

Once you approve a fix and we have done it, the next check reads the page again. If the problem is still there, the report says so.

What we can't do

  • AI answers differ from one time to the next. One measurement is a snapshot, so we compare month to month with the same questions.
  • Without Google Search Console we don't know how many visits a fix brings. Once you connect it, we show that in numbers.
  • We can't promise anyone first place. We can show what holds you back and check whether a fix changed anything.
